Baking 101

Baking a Thai iced tea cake today, it looks better than last time (of course, I won't show a photo of my previous cake)

- Too sweet

- Not fluffy enough

- Doesn't smell like a tea cake, but a vanilla cake

I used condensed milk instead of sugar....awww.. it's too creamy!

It's raining!

I saw the rainbow this morning... thinking of this song.

Bad negotiation skill

I hate talking with customer service

1. it's a long wait

2. it doesn't usually solve my problem easily, transferring line, repeat the problem, transferring ...

3. only 50% chance that I would get what I want

and today, it fails... bumm bumm

Power Outage in my office

Everyone is requested to wfh.

Pros:

- I got to buy goldfish (cheddar cheese, yayy!)

- and Starbucks green tea (5 spn of matcha powder, no syrup, yayy!)

- no need to dress up for work (save 30 mins, yayy!)

Cons:

- How can I work without my notepad archive

- It's not a productive day without that....

- I think I'll be eating all day

First thing to do when the power is back, I should put everything online...and become hardiskless

Back from The Raining City

A sisterhood plus one trip was very fun except that bay area losts one good friend and the weather is sooooo cold. (I mean, who could live there!?!?)

Thirteen hours on the road was compensated by a tax free shopping!, to help stimulate the economy! but no more repeating this trip. Instead, we should fly~~

It was great to meet friends, and of course, it reminds me... of some good memory :)

I'm trying to create a blog for my project, this looks like a good fit...clean and simple.

So many things to do today + this weekend...

Yesterday, my laptop died on my stomach! sad... I hope machine was just working so hard.
